You can use a custom EDID file with the gofanco Prophecy 4K EDID Emulator to force the Mclassic to 1440p for TVs that don’t have the correct EDID settings.
This works perfectly on my LG CX 65″ TV and should work for other models that do not have 1440p 60hz in their native EDID.
The EDID file was taken directly from an LG 27GL850-B.
Use the gofanco prophecy software to load the custom EDID bin file to your gofanco Prophecy 4K EDID Emulator.
Set the custom EDID switch setting on the Prophecy and enjoy. 🙂
